FAQs

  • Which Porosity Am I?

Do hair products tend to sit on your hair & scalp without absorbing? Does your scalp itch or have dandruff after oiling & moisturizing? Does it take long for your hair to air dry?

If you answered yes, it is likely you have "low porosity hair".

Higher porosity hair has a very open cuticle layer. The Tea Tree Oil, and Rosemary Oil in this formula will not irritate the scalp, and the heavier carrier oils will not build up.

In Low Porosity types, the cuticle layer is so tightly closed that most molecules are too big to penetrate the hair shaft. This oil is made with lightweight carrier oils, and essential oils that are sensitive.

  • How Often Should I Apply the Oil?

There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to how often you should oil your hair. It all depends on your hair type and what works best for you. If you have oily hair, you may need to oil your hair less often, but if your hair is dry and damaged, you may need to oil it more often.

Ideally, you should oil your hair every time you wash it. But if that’s not possible, aim for 2-3 times per week. Your hair will thank you for it!
